Copper Chimney – Restaurant Review

Established in 1972, Copper Chimney has been a leader and an icon when it comes to North Indian food for around 50 years now! It has led the way in celebrating the cuisine of Northern India in its full glory and has consistently been a favorite across families in India!

Copper Chimney has now opened their newest outlet in Mumbai at Kala Ghoda and it is truly a beautiful Ode to the brand of Copper Chimney.

Copper Chimney has some great Indian flavor inspired cocktails that you should give a go! The Indian LIIT and the Achari Whiskey are absolute must have.

Teetotalers can opt for their fabulous Frozen Margaritas!

No meal at Copper Chimney is complete without the Chaaps & the Kebabs! Do Not miss out on the Smoked White Pepper Chicken Chop, the Grilled Burrah Chops, the Chutney Fish and the Lal Mirch Jhinga!

If you are in the mood for a fusion dish, try the Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms!

I recently tried the Chelo Kebab at Peter Cat (Kolkata) and I have to say that the Chelo Kebab at Copper Chimney quite matches up to the deliciousness of the original. The Kebebs were ambrosial and the rice was buttery and absolutely delicious!

The must have curries at Copper Chimney are the Lamb Rogan Josh, the Macchi Rahra and the Lasooni Corn Palak! Pair these curries with their incredible Chura Paratha (trust me…its so good!).

If you are a Biryani person (who isn’t right?!), o for their delicious Parda Ghosht Biryani!

The desserts here though quite delicious, didn’t match up to the incredible food and cocktails that preceded it and I would rather have  another spoonful (or 2) of biryani over the desserts!

All in all, the newest outlet of Copper Chimney is not only a celebration of the brand but of Indian food itself and you must definitely visit soon!

Until next time….
